Big Text Display for the whole room
Type it once, project it huge. The simplest classroom-management tool there is: one instruction, giant letters, zero repeating yourself.
The twenty-times-a-day problem
Most classroom instructions aren't complicated — they're just asked repeatedly. "What are we supposed to be doing?" has one answer that changes six times a day, and the teacher is the only place it lives unless it's on the board. Writing it by hand works until your marker dies or your handwriting meets the back row. A projected message in letters the size of a poster is legible from everywhere, takes four seconds to change, and — because it's the room's single source of truth — students learn to check the screen before asking you.
Presets are the actual feature
The messages you project are the same ten forever: silent reading, phones away, line up, test in progress, turn in your work. Save each one once and your daily instructions become one tap each. Presets live on your device (like everything on ToolPorch), so your set is waiting on your classroom machine every morning.
Frequently asked questions
What is this actually for?
Putting one instruction where every student can see it: "Silent reading until 9:40," "Phones in the caddy," "Turn in your exit ticket," a Wi-Fi password, a countdown location on test day. A message on the board in giant letters gets read; the same message said aloud gets asked about five more times.
Does the text auto-size?
Yes — the display finds the largest size that fits your message on screen, whether it’s one word or three lines. Line breaks you type are respected.
Can I flip the colors?
Yes — dark-on-light or light-on-dark. Dark backgrounds are easier on projectors in dim rooms and hide dying-bulb gray nicely.
Does it remember my message?
It saves your last message and your presets on your device, so "Silent reading" is one click tomorrow. Nothing is sent anywhere.
